WHAT did you learn in school today?" mother asked her young son.
"I learned how to add," replied the child. "Two plus two the son of bitch is four.. Three plus three the son of bitch is six. .."
The shocked mother went to school the next day and confronted the teacher who, on hearing her complaint, was equally shocked. So the child was called in to repeat what he had learnt. Hearing him, the teacher burst out laughing and said "What I actually taught the children was two plus two, the sum of which is four; three plus three, the sum of which is six!"

An elderly woman goes to the doctor. She says, "Doc, it's terrible, I pass gas all the time. Fortunately, it's odorless and silent, otherwise I'd be mortified. For example, I've passed gas ten times just since we've been talking, but it's odorless and silent so you can't tell." The doctor gives her some green pills and tells her to take one a day and come back in a week.
The woman comes back after taking the pills for a week. She says, "Doc, there's been a change but not for the better. I still pass gas all the time, but while it's still silent, now it smells terrible!"
The doctor says, "Well, I'm glad we cleared up your sinus blockage, now we'll have to work on your hearing."
Congress held a hearing yesterday on baseball's steroid problem.
At least Congress can't be accused of hypocrisy on this issue. We know no one in Congress takes performance-enhancing drugs.

With the death certificate in hand, George went to the American Consulate Office to make arrangements to send the body back to the States for proper burial.
The Consul, after hearing of the death of the mother-in-law, told George, "My friend, the sending of a body back to the States for burial is very, very expensive. It could cost as much as $5,000 dollars." The Consul continued, "In most of these cases, the person responsible for the remains normally decides to bury the body here. This would only cost $150 dollars".
George thinks for some time, and answers the Consul, "I don't care how much it will cost to send the body back. That's what I want to do."
The Consul, after hearing this says, "You must have loved your mother-in-law very much, more...
