"Soap and Water" joke

A minister was invited to dinner by a parishioner with a reputation as a poor housekeeper. Sure enough, he sat down at the dinner table to the dirtiest dishes he had ever seen.

"Have these dishes ever been washed?" he asked.

"They're as clean as Soap and Water could get them," she replied.

He was still apprehensive, but blessed the food anyway and started to eat. Her food was delicious, despite the dirty dishes.

But when dinner was over, the hostess put her plate on the floor beside her and yelled, "Here, Soap! Here, Water!"
