One great day in Bombay, a couple were on a honeymoon tour. They saw one sardarji in front of a hospital (Breach Candy) was trying to fill some form. So the couple enquired eagerly "What are you doing? " Sardarji replied that I had a baby and I am filling the birth certificate form. The couple as per schedule, took the Bombay to Delhi Flight for their next destination. On the next day, they find the same Sardarji, in front of Lal Qilla in Delhi filling the same form. So once again young couple curiously asked - "What are you doing here? " Sardarji once again replied I had a baby and I am filling the birth certificate form. The couple said but sardarji yesterday you were in Bombay filling the same form, how come you're in Delhi? Sardarji cooly replied It is written here - "FILL IN CAPITALS"

IN Bombay and Ahmedabad, one comes across many Shahs. Bombay Telephone Directory has longest list under the heading Shah. A full 32-page.
I was wondering afterall from where so many Shahs come till my doubt was cleared on seeing one big signboard in Prabhadevi area mentioning' Shah Manufacturing Company.'
After a number of years in England Natha Singh decided to visit his native village in Punjab. But he decided to spend a few days in Bombay and then a day in Delhi to pay homage in the Bangla Saheb Gurdwara near Connaught Place.
He landed in Bombay and a friend received him. He enjoyed his sightseeing in Bombay and after a couple of days boarded a train for Delhi. He went into deep sleep in the train. This train reached Bhopal at about 8 a. m. Someone in the compartment put on the radio. And the Hindi newsreader's voice said, Yeh, Dilli hai. This woke up Natha Singh. He got up hurriedly, collected his bags, got down and went out of the Railway Station. He got into a cycle rickshaw and told the puller to go to Bangla Saheb Gurdwara near Connaught Place. Now this clever muslim rickshaw puller of Bhopal smiled to himself, and was on his way.

Once a Jat went to Bombay. While passing through a road he saw a very high building. He was amazed to see it, and decided to count its stories. As he was doing so a townsman saw him and tried to befool him. So he approached the Jat and asked, "What are you doing?" When he was told the answer the townsman said that one had to pay two rupees for every storey counted. "How many have you counted?" The Jat said ten and gave the man twenty rupees. Walking away the Jat was very happy to think how he has befooled the other man, for he had counted twenty.
