Day before our first jump, the instructors (known as SGT Airbornes,
students are called 'Ariborne') demonstrated all the possible
malfunctions one might encounter. After watching a total malfunction,

Airborne, if we have a complete malfunction, how much time do we have to
deploy our reserve parachutes?"
"Airborne, you have the REST of your life to deploy that reserve!"
Gulp.

As the Cobra slides past the tower, trailing a brilliant shower of sparks, this radio exchange takes place: Tower: "Sir, do you need any assistance?" Cobra: "I don't know, Tower, we ain't done crashin' yet."

An Army Ranger was on holiday in the depths of Louisiana, where he tried to buy some Alligator shoes. However, he was not prepared to pay the high prices. After failing to haggle the vendor down to a reasonable price level, he ended up shouting "I don't give two hoots for your shoes, man, I'll go and kill my own!" The shopkeeper replied, "By all means. Just watch out for the two Marines who are doing the same. "So the Ranger went out into the Bayou, and after a while saw two men with spears, standing still in the water. "They must be the two Marines," he thought. Just at that point he noticed an alligator moving in the water towards one of them. The Marine stood completely passive, even as the gator came ever closer. Just as the beast was about to swallow him, the Marine struck home with his spear and wrestled the gator up onto the beach, where several already lay. Together the two Marines threw nthe gator onto its back, whereupon one exclaimed more...

Little Johnny was playing with a pile of crap. After a while, it looked like a human. Then this sergeant walked and asked what Little Johnny was doing.

"I am making an NCO", replied Little Johnny.

The first sergeant walked away, shaking his head. After a bit a general walked past and asked what Little Johnny was doing.

"I am making and NCO" said Little Johnny.

The geneeral just laughed. After he had wiped the tears away, he asked why he was making an NCO.

"Not enough crap to make an officer"
