"White Christmas Endangered" joke

Notably absent this season is the best-selling song of all-time before Michael Jackson: “White Christmas.” It has been excluded from holiday radio music mixes and stores, even the Sirius Noelle channel.

To draw attention to the song’s impending extinction, John Plothy, Senior Administrator of NOAA, the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration, recently opened the North American Climate Change Conference with a 45 RPM of Bing Crosby’s 1937 version. He declared that unless the rate of climate change slows, the song, reindeer, Laplanders, and Michael Jackson will be extinct by the year 2020.
